Great to see our NJ troopers are protecting us from dangerous criminals and terrorists. What a joke, 80 in a 65, that's just moving along with traffic, and in the safest vehicle (an M5)at that speed to boot.

I would fight it. Did he use radar? You could question calibration, accuracy, etc. Or just claim you were being "profiled" because of the BMW/M5 perceptions and they will get nervous.

Either way inconvenience them so it becomes apparent (we can only hope) that this (80mph on an interstate highway in an M5) is a ridiculous waste of our law enforcement tax dollars.

Guys,

I got a ticket in NJ going 80 in a 65 mph road. If I go to court and fight it, will I be able to get a non point violation if I speak to the prosecutor?? What should I do?
