I just spoke to M.Benz engineer and found out;
all 2003 M.Benz AMG 55 models will have V8 supercharged engine which will produce 471 HP !!!!
Starting with CL55, S55 2003 models and SL55
Later this year New E- Class will be introduced and the 2004 E55 model will also have 471HP V8 supercharged.
No wonder the ///M5 will have V10. BMW has to compete the power game. I guess 400+ HP will be mendatory in order to be even called as a sports car in 2003..whoo.a...



that would be cool...I'd also like to see the 350hp M3 CSL S54 engine in the E39 - would weight about 3,500 pounds like the 530i; same lb/hp ratio as the current M5, and the rack&pinon setup would fit...
