Am I missing something or have you had no responses? I'm new to this board so I very well may have missed another conversation on this topic. Regardless, I'm very interested in learning about dinan s/w for the M5... things like specific performance improvements, cost, where to buy and install, warranty impacts, etc.


how has the Dinan chip worked out?

I understand that it removes a "dip" in the initial throttle response map - why would BMW put that there in the first place? does it serve some purpose? Can't believe that they would make a "mistake" like that...it must be intentional...

Any worries about raising the rpm limit?

How come they don't just remove the speed limit??
