Well, I've noticed prices have gone down close to $10K in the last year, I don't see why they would suddenly stop depreciating - at least by late next year when the 2004 models are out.

Selling the vette is not an option - it's my track car - set up for road racing with a roll bar, etc. Cars get trashed on the track, there is no way I'd subject an M5 to very much of that activity.

Problem is, if I'm wrong on the value curve and wait a year to 18 months for prices to drop $10K and they don't I'll be bummed - and I could have been driving an M3 all that time too....
