they put the actual unit in the spot where the garage opener would go. you cant see it, its up there though. then they put the display in the mirror. so the light pop up in the actual mirror. the sensors are mounted next to the rearview, and the rear sensor is located on the opposite side of the sunroof opener. i would post picks, but im not sure how. ill try tomorrow. i have dark tint on my car. i get the usuall false alarms, but you actually can learn the detector. its good protection.


Has anyone tried a Valentine 1 radar detector and does it work with the 2002 5 series windshields? Is there a problem with false alarms?
