Yes that makes sense. The motoring press being superior in a country so well known for its excellence in building automobiles and where 95% of cars are automatic and built for people weighing 200+ pounds.

Come on let's be fair here. I am a big fan of Jaguars and BMW's. Its about time that Jaguar started to build serious performance cars to take on the BMWs and even the motoring press here in Germany has greeted it well. Even though it is incredibly pro german. In my opinion British magazines are pro british yes but Britain is also the central country in the world when it comes to sports-cars. Most F1 teams, sportscar teams and world rally championship teams are based and have their cars engineered in Britain. Ofcourse I would prefer if they came to Germany but that' the way it is. The US motoring press is quite frankly a joke, especially taking the size (not quality) of the US motoring industry into account.
