Wear are you located? If you are in the Bay Area, I could help you out.

Check out the URL below to learn more about it.

This clear film material is made by 3M and not supposed to yellow (mine's been on over a year now and I can't tell but my 530i is Topaz and somewhat dark but a buddy whose Xpel I installed on TiAg is doing fine at about 10-11 months thus far).

Yeah, there is a line on the hood you will probably notice but I doubt others will unless they know to look for it. Also, the dirtier your car the more you see the line. Finally, the lighter the paint, the more you see the line.

Drop me a personal email if you have more questions...I don't check this board too much but you can find me running rampant and unchecked over at the e39 board.

Chris

a few people that yellowing occurred when they didn't clean bug splatter off right away. The 3M material is actually porous. Seems the little bug-body chemicals seep there way in and discolor it. I kept it clean to prevent the discoloration I heard about. Unfortunately I had a few chips come after the install just above the plastic, on the hood. It only covers the 90% "likely hit" areas. Seems like a good product though and the Xpel support people are really quite helpful (if someone ever wants to install as DIY project).

Rdgs,
Norm
