I'd rather have the M5, and I own a Jaguar right now! I like my Jag, but the S-Type R won't have a real stick shift. That immediately puts it out of contention with the M5. If I didn't want a stick shift I'd be comparing the Jag to a big fast Mercedes, not to the BMW.
