I have the Dinan Stage III suspension installed. Very good compromise for Street and track.
Another is the AC Schnitser adjustable suspension. Pricey, but supposedly very good.
You are definitely going to want to upgrade your stock brakes. I'm currently waiting on the next generation Stoptech brakes for the M5. These are driect bolt-on with no changes neccessary as far as increased wheel size or spacers. The next generation will have the bridge hat (top of the caliper) reverse to make for easier pad changes at the track.

Hi, I am new to the board as I just got a Jet Black 2000 this week; traded in my 1996 Carrera 4S, as I needed something that could accomodate more than one passenger after turning my 735i daily driver over to my son. I will really miss the Porsche, it was heavily moded for the track and a blast to drive fast. I will also try to make the M5 a little more track oriented and was wondering whether BMW Motorsports offers any factory race oriented parts? Also, does anyone have any suggestions for a good street/track suspension set-up? Any thoughts on a compromise alignment for street/track? I am looking forward to learning more from the board.

Thanks,

Doug
