I'm thinking of replacing the wood trim on my Anthracite/Black 540i with some aluminum trim. I think it would look good with my 5er's colour combo. I could buy stock BMW trim, but I'm not sure like the idea of aluminum-look plastic, especially after hearing about the problems some have had with it. Has anyone on this board bought and installed REAL aluminum trim (not the kind that adheres to existing trim, but rather replaces it). If so, can you let me know which brand you purchased and pass on your thoughts. Thanks in advance.
