Looking some of this over briefly, it looks as though the DSP and amplifier are one. I'll try to tap into the analog signal path(s) between the tuner/cassette and the DSP/amp. Injecting a line-level audio signal there while playing a blank cassette should produce the desired results. It worked great in my 2000 Suburban!
