I agree with digi, but thanx for sharing with the M5 group. I have seen two blown E46 M3 engines, not sure if both of them have SMG. The first one I saw was on the side of 405 freeway in so cal. It was engulfed in flames starting from the engine compartment. Good luck and hope you don't have to change to a M5 soon
