Good question. The M5 uses Tire Sizes 245/40-18F 275/35-18R. On the E39 528i sport, the largest 8" size shown for rear is a 265.

There is a possibility that the fender lips may need to be rolled or modified to allow the wheels to fit. Offset & fitment wheel wise should be correct, but be prepared to need to modify the body to make it work.

Hope this helps!

: I want 2000 M5 rims for my 528 sport. WIll they fit without mods? If not how are the mods done and how much (roughly)? I will need to by tires. Can you recomend a size and type. I am looking for a good blend of ride comfort, durability, and all season performance.

: Thanks
