Which tires have best tread wear? (archive)

Hi,
I'm getting 19" rims for my e39(540ia). I'm getting Hartge Classics with 19 by 8.5 in front and 19 by 9.5 in the rear. I was wondering which tires last the longest. I don't really care about performance, I just need something that will have the best lasting tread wear. Could someone tell me?
