SmarTire sensor display wiring question (archive)

I just got a new set of tires (Yokohama AVS SportS) and with the SmarTire pressure/temp. sensor mounted. Has anyone connected the sensor display into a keyed-power outlet in the car beside using the cigarette lighter? If so can you post a pic or a description of where is the best place for wiring?

BTW, the Yoko AVS sports tires are excellent so far - quieter than the ContiSports.
