wheel bolt hole/stud size (archive)

I have the opportunity to pick up some wheels for track use that have the proper bolt pattern and backspacing. The issue I am unsure of is the specs listed for the bolt holes themselves. They are listed as being drilled 11/16" for 5/8" studs and require 45 degree lugnuts. Does this mean they will accept up to a 5/8" stud or does it mean only a 5/8" stud? Since my car has 1/2" studs is this going to be a problem? FWIW, the wheels are steel circle track wheels.

Thanks!
