: For the price, they seem to be a great deal.

: But do they perform???

I just got a set of 225/40/18's for my M3, and for the street they're fine... better than I thought they would be considering the price (last summer I had the 17" Conti Sports on the OEM rims and these seem to be almost as good.

They are a little noisey (I don't care)

They seem to corner pretty sharp, but I don't really push them on the road. I wasn't looking for an "ultimate" perfomance street tire myself since I have a set of BFG G-Force R1's for the auto-x/track stuff

In an 18" size they're one of the few guys under $200, but certainly they're not quite as good as the SP-8000....
