The offset will be cast into the backside of the spokes typically (look for ET** - **= offset in mm) That will tell you exactly what you have.

As for tires, size is great for the car. Tire choice- the 9000s are not a bad one at all for what you are looking for. What I suggest is to give me a call & I can help you narrow it down a bit further after a few questions!

: Firstly, I just purchased the BMW factory Cross Spoked Composite Wheel II, Bolted wheels (PN 85-32-9-409-991) for my '96 328i (with sports package). I can't find the offset for this wheel to determine the correct tire size application. Do you know what the offset is for this wheel? I was planning to use 225/45R17. The
: steering and turning capability must remain unchanged (status quo). I do not want the tire to rub the wheel well. What's your suggestion for the correct tire size?

: Secondly, my driving habits are average - moderately aggressive driving. My driving consist of a 60/40 (city/highway)combination. My ideal tire (in order of preference) has the following qualities: reliability, low noise, good ride, good tread life, and performs under wet/dry conditions well. This will be a summer tire only. My choice was the Dunlap SP9000. Any other recommendations for a tire choice?
