Adapter?? question (archive)

I currently have 5 star Centra rims on my Maxima, 5 lug. I want to put them on my 735i. The offset is just a hair off, probably about 1/8 inchor so. I heard somewhere that there is some sort of adapter tofit on the car to be able to use rims with a different lug configuration. Any ideas?
