Aaron,

Let me first make this clear to everyone who is reading this board. The tires I bought, their price, the speed in which they were delivered and the advice that you gave me when I ordered the tires were all first class.

I was happy, no thrilled, when the whole telephone tire-ordering went so smoothly. I had never gotten tires via mail/internet order and I was apprehensive. But, in part from what I read on Bimmer.org, I gave it a try. I ordered the tires on a Monday or Tuesday and had them on my car on a Friday. My local tire store couldn't even find what I wanted and would have been much more expensive for something similar.

I want to make it clear to everyone that I was very happy with TireRack up to that point.

It was only when I asked for an invoice that I became frustrated. I know (and admitted to you previously) that this seems anal, but I did actually need/want it for a good reason. I now have two sets of new tires and will be selling one of them and I just wanted to show a potential buyer when I bought them and how much I paid.

As I'm sure we've all experienced, it is very irratating to have a salesperson promise you something and then it becomes obvious they were just blowing smoke. After you assured me 2 or 3 times that you would send it and I never got it, I felt like you were just blowing smoke.

If you really did send it to the wrong address, my apologies for the public complaining. If I do receive it this time, I will be more than happy to publicly thank you and become a TireRack supporter in the future.

John
