We want customers to have as much information to make the best choice for themselves. We try to coordinate our adds with expected ship dates but can not be 100% accurate. The first date we advertised the Riva was Feb 1st, 2000. Because of the printing lead-time that add was finalized the end of December. At that time ATP had expected to get us the wheels the middle of February. Because of a production and shipping delay we did not receive the wheels till March 9th. We have had some applications of the Fittipaldi Formula since the 1st week of January. Fittipaldi has unexpectedly changed their plans on this wheel and we are unsure of the future availability.
We feel that it is best to show customers wheels that are due in soon so that they can choose to wait if they wish. We don't want a customer to buy a wheel and see a new wheel in an ad 2 weeks later that they like better but that we did not advertise because of lead-time. We offer toll free phone numbers staffed by well-trained reps who can answer your questions on availability and applications and a web site that offers fitment and stock information.
