I couldn't find a set of Sports available for my 98 M3 (the kept being backordered over and over) & couldn't wait any longer since spring is here, so I ended up buying the S-02 PP's.

Probably not worth the extra $$, but I didn't feel like running on my snows until May...

: The AVS sports are over $250 cheaper than the Pole Positions or Pilot Sports. I know the other 2 are better tires, but $250 better? I have an M Roadster that I drive hard on the street and I take it to the track, so I'll go through tires a little faster than normal (at least faster than my buddy that has the same car). If I have to get tires once a year, $250 will add up. Also, $250 pays for a NASA weekend. I'm looking for value. I'm willing to trade a little performace to save $250. How much performace would I be giving up?
