I think the magic or the inspiration would look really good. My father-in-law just bought a 740i sport with the 18"ers and it looks awesome. If you are not totally set on the 17's, I'd look into the 18's, the ride is not even that harsh(this is even with the sport suspension). I like the 18's because the 7 series wheelbase is so long. No matter what though, you'll have a very nice car.
