: I have a '99 Z3 2.8, and I chose 225/45zR17s all around when I upgraded to the MM Spiders. Now I'm wondering if I just suck it up and buy 245/40zR17s for the rear so I can have more tire soaking up bumps, or should I just throw in the towel now and go back to the original factory size wheel/tire combo?

Have you (at Tire Rack) noticed a higher-than-average problem rate with Mille Miglia Spiders? I am definitely not happy with ones I've bought through you guys in terms of their long term survivability.

Are these wheels intended for sportier cars or not?

Would I have better success avoiding bent rims going with 16" wheels and tires (225-50zR16) versus 17" +1 wheels and tires (235-45zR17)

As a tire rack customer, I'm not happy at all.
