17x8 wheels on 1993 325is? (more) (archive)

I am looking to put them on my 1993 325is. Would the Fittipaldi Polaris 17x8 with 235-40-17 tires fit OK (offset and width). What is the weight on the Fittipaldi compared to an M3 wheel? I don't want to worry about tire rubbing. How are the Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 tires on wet and on dry traction? How do they compare to Bridgestone RE730?
