Unless the wheels are specifically made hub centric with the car, it will need the plastic ring.

What kind of 17x8 replica did you get? Is it the 7-spoke 17" (323Ci sport / 328i sport). If yes, it should fit fine without the ring (don't take my word for it though).

Call your salesman at DTD and ask him/her about the ring. I have not had very good luck with DTD (they did not sound very knowledgeable).

: I just received a set of replica 17x8 wheels from discounttire. I was told I needed hub centric rings by the sales guy, but did not recive any. Do I need them? Has anyone any relevant experience.
