I've emailed this request to you as well.
Anyway, looking for wheel/tire/suspension package for an E28 ('88 535is). Suspension will be H&R Sport springs and may keep current Bilstein HD's (40K mi. on the fronts, rear shocks have 130K but still no bounce). Also will add a bigger sway bar. Tires will be 225/50-16. I acknowledge all that has been posted on the potential need for rear fender rolling/trimming with this tire size set-up.

Questions:
1) Of the Max or Ultra-High Perf. tire range, are there any models which evidence slightly more rounded shoulders and thus reduce the likliehood of having to roll/trim the lips? I'm leaning to the AVS Sports - how would you characterize their shoulder profile in relative terms?

2) What offets are available in the 20-25mm range with 16x7.5 Borbet M-types, C-types or MM Emotions?

3) I understand that 20mm offset is probably the max you can go in the front before rubbing the strut's spring perch but that 24mm or so in the rear would probably clear the lips. What's the availability and adviseability of going to a 24mm offset wheel and adding 3mm spacers up front only? What is the max spacers you can have without needing longer lugs?

4) The track I run 6-8 times per year is predominantly left-handers? I've cupped my current TRX's nicely on the right side. Is it safe or adviseable to rotate tires side-to-side if even for track sessions only?

I really would appreciate even a partial response.
Thanks
