Bridgestone RE730 vs Firestone SZ50 (archive)

I'm looking for a set of tires for my 300zx,
and I've pretty much narrowed it down to 2 choices.
Are the Firestone SZ50's worth the approx. $175
difference over the Bridgestone RE730 ?? I don't
race or autocross or anything like that. The
SZ50 sounds like its great, but the RE730 seems like
a better buy. Also, there's not so many opinions
posted about the RE730, since its newer, I guess.
Also, I liked the RE71's when I had those on my RX7,
and the RE730's are the replacement for those.

Maybe the TireRack team can comment?

thanks,
Guy
