Need Tires for M5. Help Tire Rack! (archive)

Hey Gang,

I am down to the cord on my Pilots and need a replacement tire. I was considering the Dunlop sp 8000 since they are such a good deal right now. I am also considering the AVS Sports. Which of these 2 tires is better in dry grip, handling and treadwear? Anyone have experience with these tires? Also how do the G Force and S-O2 compare to each other and to the 2 tires I already mentioned.

I know this is a lot to ask so any help would great

The car iss a 91 M5 with stock 17x8 wheels.
