The Sp8000s would be a step down in handling & technology from the Pilot series. You would be better off keeping with a max perfomance tire like the S02PP as THE BEST tire option available (esp. for wet performance), and if you want a really cost effective bang for the buck, then we will go with the AVS Sports.

We have done much testing of the max performance tires & all testing results would be shown on our website. Take a look there, then give me a call & I can discuss personal experience on them with you!

Thanks!

: Hey Gang,

: I am down to the cord on my Pilots and need a replacement tire. I was considering the Dunlop sp 8000 since they are such a good deal right now. I am also considering the AVS Sports. Which of these 2 tires is better in dry grip, handling and treadwear? Anyone have experience with these tires? Also how do the G Force and S-O2 compare to each other and to the 2 tires I already mentioned.

: I know this is a lot to ask so any help would great

: The car iss a 91 M5 with stock 17x8 wheels.

: thanks
