15" to 17" upgrade what tyres? (archive)

I currently have 205 60 15s on my e36 , I will be getting a set of cross spoke split rim BMW alloys that 17" , What tyres to go for?
215 45 ? or 40?
I prefer 215s, is there anything good or bad about my width size?
