Yoke AVS dBs? wheel fitments? E34 (archive)

I have a 95 525 currently shod with the stock MXV4s that I want to upgrade to 17x8.5 BBS RKs and 235/45/17 tires.

question 1: anyone have any experience with the AVS dBs? I have AVS Sports on my 332 and love them, save for the road noise that has developed now that the tires have about 5k miles on them. I know the dBs are an all season tire, but how close are they in performance?

question 2: the stock wheels, 15x7s, have an offset of 20mm. the 8.5 RKs have an offset of 15mm. If I have my concept of offset correct, this would push the wheels OUT by 5mm and the .75" difference in wheel width. Will this stick out of the wheelwells? would they rub?

question 3: anyone know how much a 17x8.5 BBS RK weighs?
