I am interested in purchasing a set of Breyton Inspirations 17X8.5 for my E34. My friend also just purchased these sets but he is having trouble with them. The metal or aluminum hub rings that came with the set seems to be the culprit. I think the tire shop installed them incorrectly because now they look crimped on some sides and it's making the wheel vibrate at 55mph. If we take out the rings, the vibration lessens 3 fold but still slightly noticable. If we put the car on a lift and run the rears, you can notice that they aren't running straight with the rings on.

If I buy them, do I need to install these rings? If they get crimped, does it mean that they may be too large for the wheel or hub and do I need to order a set of rings that fits? I thank you in advance for your assistance. Since you are an authorized dealer of Breytons, you probably have gone through these issues. Please email me at r_m_b_g@yahoo.com.

Francis
