: I seem to notice a definite preference toward Bridgestone tires on the part of the Tire Rack crew. Now I don't discount the possibility that they may simply like the Bridgestone products better, but the cynical side of me has questions.

: What is the relationship between Bridgestone and Tire rack? Back when I was selling electronics we would push the products the store got the best margins on (which made them the products with the highest commissions to the salespeople). Given the somewhat overwhelming predisposition toward Bridgestone, I tend to wonder if that is what is going on here.

I own a 1997 BMW 740IL and needed some tires. I did a Ton of research on diffrent brands and settled on the Bridgestone Turanza Revo Zs. I did not buy them from the TireRack, My local Firestone store beat there price by $6.00 per tire mounted and balanced with a lifetime road hazard warranty. So I'm not touting the TireRack. What I'm getting to is that these tires are probably the best over all tire I've ever owned in 45 years of driving High Performance type cars. There preformance in the wet is absolutely amazing. This is my First set of Bridgestones of any kind, but won"t be my last. The diff between these and the Continentals that came on the car is almost beyond description. Like I said I didn't buy them from the TireRack, But there testing did get me to try a set knowing that if I did't like them I could get a full refund in 30 days. I won't be asking for a refund. You ought to try a set.
