Exactly how light weight are BBS rims? I thought they were very heavy ont heorder of 26-30 lbs in the 18" size...
Atlanta may have the best roads because you have so much traffic that drivers spend most of their time on the road....

do you like SSRs?? im not sure if htey ocme in 18, i have them...

: Hi Tire Rack team.

: How much concern should I have about cast lightweight rims like the BBS RK in 18" for a 1997 BMW 540iA? I live in Atlanta (recently noted in USA Today as Best Roads in the country), but I do run into the occasional pothole and have a Dinan suspension.

: Apart from the looks, how much better off am I with the BBS RK II than the RK lightweight? Are they worth the extra cost & does this extra cost result in a stronger rim? Or would you recommend a forged rim altogether? I'm considering the RE730's as tires all around in 245/40-18.

: Many thanks.

: Regards, Mark
