I am planning to replace my style 44 BMW (7 spoke star)17" wheels with some Mille Miglia Glide II's I picked up on ebay.

The bore diameter and hole patterns are identical to the stock, but the offset is different (greater) in that the wheel is further away from the centerline of the car by about 5 mm.

Is this significant? They look great, but should I be concerned about handling or load on the wheel bearings?
