Tyre pressures: e30 m3 w/245/35/17 toyo t1 ? (archive)

i have recently bought a set of refurbished o.z. racing 3 piece wheels for my e30 m3. They are 8.5x17 front and 10x17 rear, wearing 215/40/17 and 245/35/17 respectivley.
does anyone have any ideas on tyre pressures?
It seems to me that with such a low profile tyre a higher pressure should be used in order to protect the rim, but i'm not sure.
Any ideas?
