Consult www.bavauto.com or call them at 1.800.535.2002 they know BMW's better then anyone.
Not to mention tirerack screwed me on my '95 318ti wheels and tires, the size is wrong, the overall diameter is too short, and they won't own up to it. They insisted on 17x8 on all 4 corners, and no wider than 215/45/17 when it seems a 235/40/17 fits the rear (which is a concern on ti's) with no problems.
If you want to go to an 18", that's an option too. Talk to bavauto, they'll take good care of you.
