I like the new setup a lot. I used to run 205's, but I can definitely feel the 225's being more grippy around turns. Handling has also improved, mainly because I've gone wider with the tires.

The tires I've got on are Pirelli P7000 SuperSports, and I'm not all that excited about them. They are grippy, and control is great, but they have created a significantly harsher ride, and noise was the first thing I noticed when I switched. I've gotten used to them now, but I recently test drove a 330i, and my first impression was how smooth the ride was.

My car is a BMW 323i with Sport, so I haven't lowered them anymore than what the sport springs give me. I'm looking to switch tires...I really liked my old ContiSports, but I'm willing to give the new Bridgestone RE730's a try.

: How do you like your setup? I currently have 225/50-16s and am thinking about using that setup (225/45-17s) with 17X8 wheels. I'd like to get some feedback of the handling with this setup. is your car lowered ? what brand of tires ?

: thanks in advance...
