The RK is acually lighter weight than the RKII. Normally the 2 piece wheels are made for ease of manufacturing different fitments with the same mold. The wheels are made of the same materials with no benefit on either for strength or durability. The 2 piece wheel does look nicer with the polished wheel and you could replace part of the wheel if it was damaged. If I can help or you have any other questions, give me a call.
