: : i have recently bought a set of refurbished o.z. racing 3 piece wheels for my e30 m3. They are 8.5x17 front and 10x17 rear, wearing 215/40/17 and 245/35/17 respectivley.
: : does anyone have any ideas on tyre pressures?
: : It seems to me that with such a low profile tyre a higher pressure should be used in order to protect the rim, but i'm not sure.
: : Any ideas?
: : Thanks in advance for any help.

: You would still want to run the OE air pressures for the new tires. The air pressure has more to do with the car and less to do with the tire.

Thanks Jim.
