Hi guys -- a question and a comment:
(Q) Bought a set of 17" ATP M-Contour replicas from Tire Rack earlier this year with 225/45HR-17 Pilot Alpins mounted on 'em for my E36 M3. Now selling the M3 and about to take delivery of a new 330Ci. Can you confirm that this winter setup is good to go on my new E46?
(Comment) I've seen the exchange last month on the Alpha M5S wheel -- one of my favorite wheels of all time -- and I can certainly understand where BMW is coming from on the replica issue (Hey! What about all the E36 M3 wheel replicas? BMW lawyers haven't caught on yet???) but the Alpha M5S fitment for 3 series cars is unique to the M5S, yes? The OE BMW wheels I believe fits 5/7/8 series only. Oh,
well -- the search for the perfect wheel continues...
