Scott:

First, I am sorry you are unhappy with the completion of your order. I am a bit suprised at your response, and your choice to vent your frustration here, rather than to me or the Tire Rack directly. Each time we have spoken by phone I have not gotten any indication from you that the order completion timeline was not acceptible.

I do realize there have been some delays, but since your first post over the initial problem, HTTP://WWW.BIMMER.ORG/WHEEL/MESSAGES/MESSAGES/2005.HTML, we have been in regular contact with you by phone. As you may recall, when the delivery of replacement product was delayed, I spoke with you on two occasions, most recently on 7/15 and advised you of the timeline to ship the entire package out of my Indiana warehouse, rather than transfer inventory to the Nevada location for shipment to you as originally ordered. As we discussed, the time frame for delivery was the same, and there was less chance for something to disrupt the delivery to you by removing the additional step for the inventory transfer. If this option was not acceptible, you made no indication of that to me.

I don't think we ever "lied" to you. Quite the contrary, in fact. I have made a good faith effort to keep you advised of the status of your order as things were developing. If you had a problem with any part of this, you should have made me aware of it.
