Question on req'd wheel size for 97 528 (non-spt) (archive)

I have a set of Winter tires left from when I turned in my 99 540 sport and bought a 97 528 non-sport with 15" wheels. I'd like to know what size 17" wheels I need with these tire size. Front's were 235/45-17, rear were 255/40-17. Also, will I need a sport springs to lower the car for the 17"ers.
