I know this may be misinterpreted, since The Tire Rack sponsors this forum, but I've noticed a lot of negativity and bile thrown at them (and patiently and politely responded to by Tim, in almost all cases).

So here's my experience, by the numbers:
Duration of Tire Rack as a supplier: 14 years
# of cars owned/leased during above time: 7
Avg. number of tire or wheel/tire purchases per car: 2
Current # of wheel/tire sets stacked in my garage: 5

I have *NEVER* had a Tire Rack salesperson lie to me or be rude on the phone. I've had e-mail exchanges be delayed, but never ignored. And I have *virtually* never been misinformed. (I say virtually just to cover the possibility one slipped by me without my knowing!) This represents the best customer-service performance in my life. There's no doubt in my mind why Tire Rack is rated #1 by J.D. Power CSI, as well as in sales.

And to the people who get quotes only begrudgingly because of a perceived price advantage, I've got news: Tire Rack isn't always cheapest. But usually the best.

Take that, MP....

P.S. No vested interest here, just a satisfied customer
