The tradeoffs I know of are that the Pole Position tires have a little bit more grip, whereas the 730s have a much greater treadwear rating (300 vs 180). Is the grip substantially that different?

Cost is also a factor - in 225/50zr16, the RE730s are $107 vs the PPs are $182, but since the treadwear rating is lower on the PPs, you'll replace them more often.

Which way would you go? I wanna make a decision soon.
