what size spacer for Mroadster 17x8 BBS RK more.. (archive)

Thinking of getting some BBS RK 17" x 8" rims for my M roadster - anyone know what offset/spacer I need to get them to fit? I know NOTHING about this subject apart from I cant just stick them on and they work - which is a bit of a pain!!!
