To: Tirerack folks or anyone
I have a '94 325is with standard 15" "honeycomb" style wheels. I want to get new wheels which look better and are easier to clean. I'm thinking 16" is a better choice than 17" because they would have a smoother ride and be less likely to get damaged -- but still look pretty good. When I look through your catalog, it seems there are a lot more choices at 17". Is the difference between the two sizes significant or am I showing my old age?

We do have good stock in both 16" and 17" for your car. You are correct that the 16" will give a better ride quality and be less likely to be damaged. The advantage of the 17" is better handling and a more aggresive look. The ride quality is not bad on the E36 with the 17" I have driven them with this set up and the hadling is more crisp . If I can help with a smoother tire in the 17" give me a call direct.
Thank you Jim 800-428-8355-364
