I need to replace the tires on my 1994 525i. I have the standard 20-spoke 15" rims that came with the car. The tires are currently 205/65/15. I was told that I could put 225/60/15 tires on these rims. Is this true. I would like the wider tires on the car. Also, what type of tire do you recommend? I live in CT and use the car as an everyday driver. I guess I'm looking for an All-Season performance tire.
Thanks...Jeff

The 225/60R15 will work fine on your car and it will improve the handling on dry roads but it will decrease the traction on ice and snow. As far as an all-season performance tire I would recommend the Dunlop SP5000. It is excellent in dry and wet conditions and it has a very quiet and smooth ride quality. In the 205/65R15 it is 65.00 per tire and the 225/60R15 is 68.00 per tire. If I can help give me a call direct at 800-428-8355-364
Thank you Jim
