I would like to put snow tires on the rear on my 330i sedan, the "17 non-sport one with lots of spokes. I would like to do this as cheaply as possible so. My idea was to use the spare wheel as a permanent snow/spare and buy I BMW wheel for the other snow. BMW wants $400 for the wheel and about $200 each for Continental snows...........any suggestions.

My suggestion is to only do 4 snow tires or no snow tires. If you put them on just the back the car can be very unstable in an emergency situation. You also would have a car that would not be able to stop any better than the stock and the contol of the vehicle would be compromised in all conditions. We have snow tire and wheel packages for the car with the Mille Miglia Spyder and Bridgestone Blizzak for 1116.00 plus shipping. Let me know if I can help. Thank you
